  A whole lot of amazing things go on here at GO InterNational. We travel to some of the most fascinating places on the planet and work hard to change the lives of the people we come in contact with. Bert Jones, President and CEO

Bert Jones serves as the President & CEO of GO InterNational. As President Bert travels nationally and internationally preaching and representing the ministries of GO. Bert has a passion for preaching and leadership. Bert and his wife Cheryl have 3 children, Joshua, Allyson and Aaron. Since 1988 Bert has had the privilege of leading teams to Jamaica, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Russia, India, Nicaragua & Kenya.
 

Johnni Carter, Administrative Assistant

Johnanna Carter, known by everyone around the office as Johnni, has been a part of GO InterNational since 1991. She is the Administrative Assistant and her role includes answering the phones, connecting with team members before they head out on their trips, and helping with the financial end of the ministry. She has been married for 41 years to her wonderful husband Larry and they have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. Johnni currently lives in Nicholasville, KY.
 

Larry Cochran, Past President

Larry Cochran serves as Past President of GO InterNational. He also serves as a team leader for Latin America. His passion is to help GO's international partners in church planting and discipleship training. Larry strongly believes in community transformation and showing community leaders how to work in unity for the purpose of reaching their cities for Christ. Larry is married to Jenny Cochran and they have three children and five grandchildren. Larry has been on staff for the past twenty three years.
 

Michelle Cravens, Associate Trip Director

Michelle joined the GO InterNational staff in August of 2008, serving as the Associate Trip Director. In this role, she plans and facilitates the trips. She also co-leads some of these short term trips. Michelle went on her first short-term trip with GO InterNational at the age of 12 and felt God's call into missions about a year later. God has given her a heart for people, especially children, and plans on living long-term overseas in the future. She graduated from Taylor University with a B.A. in Psychology and minored in Missions. Michelle currently lives in Lexington, KY.
 

Larry Frick, Director of Medical Missions

Dr. Larry Frick serves as Director of Medical Missions for GO InterNational, leading short term medical teams to minister with our partners to the poor of the world who have little access to medical care. He also oversees outreach to medical personnel in the U.S. and GO's partnership with Christian Medical and Dental Associations. Over the past twelve years he has traveled to Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru, Bolivia, Russia, Kenya, and Zambia. Prior to coming to GO, he practiced family medicine for 14 years in Chillicothe, Ohio. He and his wife Marci have a seven year-old daughter Hannah.
 

Ron Houp, Senior Vice President

Ron's primary roles are in development, fundraising and strategic direction of the ministry. His past ministry expereince includes serving as the CFO of a christian publishing concern and as executive pastor of a fast growing local church. He enjoys speaking on stewardship and mission issues and visiting with supporters wherever he goes.

Brooke Lombardi, Associate Director on Social Justice

Brooke Lombardi serves as the Associate Director on Social Justice issues, especially in the area of human trafficking. She joined GO team in September 2008. Brooke has a passion to reach out to those who are enslaved by human trafficking. She speaks, writes, travels and makes others in the community aware of human trafficking and lets people know how they can also take action. In this role, she will be working closely with our partner, CMDA. Brooke also helps raise up leaders, specifically college students, who desire to be change agents in the world of human trafficking.
 

Randall Morton, Area Director | Latin America

Randall Morton serves as the Area Director of Latin America. In this role, he leads numerous trips yearly and teaches both on the field and in local churches. Randall and his wife Robin served as missionaries in Spain for 10 years and Randall has also served as a pastor in the local church for 12 years. They have two children: Emily and Caleb.
 

Marissa Phelps, Director of Children's Ministries

Marissa has been serving with GO for eleven years. Now acting as the Director of Children's Ministries, she equips mission teams and indigenous churches to the task of reaching children for Christ, especially through developing and providing curriculum for mission teams and training to the local church. Her goal is to see mission teams working side by side with national leaders ministering to children in the field while being equipped through training seminars to teach the Bible effectively to children. Marissa is married to Dan and together they have two children: Abriel and Haylie.
 

Evan Slee, Director of Campus Ministries | GO Institute

 

Bob Stanko, Vice President of Administration

Bob Stanko joined the staff of GO InterNational as Vice President of Administration in June 2007. Bob’s role at GO includes a broad range of duties which support the mission of GO, including facilities management, overseeing the financial operations, managing the business affairs of the organization, and financial management of GO trip teams. Bob and his wife Diane have a married son Brian, a daughter Tricia who is also married, and two grandsons Matthew and Elijah, all residing in Western Pennsylvania.
 

Zach Szmara, Director | The GO Institute

Zach joined the team in 2007 and gives direction to The GO Institute. It has been his privilege to work with some amazing young people and to lead side-by-side with wonderful individuals. He has previously taught at the Bougainville Wesleyan Methodist Bible College (Papua New Guinea). He is married to his best friend Lyndy and their vision is to make a difference in the world - by sharing both the Good News and their lives with those they come in contact with (1 Thess. 2:8).
 

Phil Thornton, Vice President of Field Ministries

Dr. Phil Thornton is Vice President of Field Ministries for GO InterNational. In this position he oversees the international partnerships of the agency in Asia, Africa, Central and South America, coordinates church planting through those partnerships, and is regularly involved in leadership training events for pastors and church planters. Prior to coming to this position, Dr. Thornton was a missionary in Colombia, South America, and for 27 years served as Professor of Missions at Asbury College.
 

Frank Wilbur, Associate Director | Finance

Frank is Professor Emeritus of Biology at Asbury College where for twelve years he held the Cecil B. Hamann Endowed Chair of Science. He joined the GO staff as a volunteer in January 2008 to work with Bob Stanko and Zach Szmara in developing and overseeing Ministry Team budgets, monitoring the financial aspects of the ministry and raising funds for Christian education in Peru. He and his wife Wendy (married for 43 years) have a son, daughter-in law and five grandchildren who serve full time in Central Asia and a daughter, son-in-law and grandson in Louisville. Frank has served on teams to Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, Kenya, Thailand, Turkey and Tajikistan.
 

Janice McIntosh, Regional Director | Southeast

Joining the staff of Go InterNational in June, 2008, Janice serves as the Southeast Regional Director from her home in Enterprise, AL. In this role, she works to ignite interest in missions by speaking at churches or other groups, helping to organize special events like mission conferences, and working with churches or individuals to participate in a short term mission trip with Go InterNational.
 

Ron & Bonnie Koteskey, Member Care Consultants

Bonnie has taught elementary school as well as teacher education at the college level, and Ron has taught psychology at the undergraduate level in college. They have three children which are all married and have families of their own. As member care consultants they are now retired and, as volunteers, provide member care for missionaries. They are not licensed health care professionals, but emphasize care, encouragement, growth, and prevention of problems rather than treatment of severe problems.
