I’m gearing up for a busy day this Sunday. I will be teaching the college class at the Free Methodist Church in Wilmore talking about missions and GO InterNational. We hope to get some of the students there interested in what we are doing in missions and to give them some opportunities to participate on teams and internships.
The class is from 9:30am. To 10:30a.m. After I finish teaching the class at the Wilmore Free Methodist Church I will go across town and preach Sunday morning at the Wilmore Community Missionary Church. I’m preaching this Sunday on the Triumphal Entry. Did you know that all 4 Gospels include this story in their writings? Matthew 21:1-11; Mark 11:1-11; Luke 19:28-41 & John 12:12-19.
Interesting fact— Did you know that only Matthew refers to the Donkey AND the Colt? All these years I thought they were two different names for the same animal. Matthew is specific that there were two Animals. I’m enjoying this study on this portion of Scripture.
Sunday evening I will be participating in the Community Holy Week service that will be held this year at the Baptist church here in Wilmore.
