GO InterNational ministers through partnerships with indigenous ministries around the world. These long-term relationships are the core of our ministry. We are most effective in fulfilling the Great Commission when we work through those who know the language, culture and context best. We seek long-term fruit for the kingdom so we work with those who are there ministering in an on-going way.
GO currently has fourteen partners in twelve countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Our partners’ ministries are varied and the types of ministry we do through them are varied as well. Our ministries with our partners include church planting, child development ministries such as feeding programs, schools and orphanages, leadership development, community health, and small-scale economic development projects. Our short-term teams assist in training, construction, evangelism, ministry to children, and medical ministry.

GO InterNational medical teams minister through clinics set up at locations determined together with our national partners. The team is usually in a remote setting, sometimes without reliable electricity, often working out of a church or school with equipment limited to what the team can bring. The medical component provides medical assessment, minor outpatient procedures, and provision of medications to those we treat.

An exciting new dimension has been added to the ministries of GO InterNational. We are branching into Homeland Missions, taking teams for service within the United States borders. Roger and Susan Clark have accepted the position of Directors of Homeland Missions with excitement, purpose and a desire to be used of the Lord to be “His hands and feet” One facet of this ministry will be disaster response: helping in building restoration and repair, aide distribution and counseling to those in crisis.

This year, for the sixth time, Ron and Bonnie Koteskey traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where they could be available to 400 teachers serving in five Asian countries: China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. The teachers were attending a week-long conference and could make appointments with Ron & Bonnie or another counselor who was also there. Ron & Bonnie also met with cross-cultural workers at home, skyped and phoned them anywhere in the world, and responded to email. They also participated in the Research and Resource Fair at the annual Conference on Mental Health and Missions.

GO Internships have four key values: mentoring, leadership, innovation, and practical training. We believe in mentoring because relationships grow us, leadership because this next generation can transform the world, innovation because change is necessary, and practical training because you need to put your knowledge and talents into action. GO wants to grow your strengths and stretch your weaknesses in whatever field you’re entering – whether it is ministry, business, graphic design, education, or anything else. GO wants to show you that’s its all about using your own gifts, whatever they may be, to do BIG things for God and his kingdom.
