I’m here in Hetauda, Nepal with Dr. Bill Pfoff of Clear Creek Charts ministry to train pastors. We are working with GO partner Babu Varghese of Nepal Evangelical Mission. I’ll be teaching about holistic ministry through Community Health Evangelism. Today we preached at two different churches. The churches worship on Saturday here since that’s the day people have off in this Hindu culture and Sunday is a work day.
This afternoon I had one of the best treats I’ve had as a missionary. We got to go to the river to the baptism service for 23 young people from Blessed Children’s Home, the orphanage run by Babu and hiswide, Sabrita. It was a great blessing to be there and speakworlds of encouragement into the lives of these Nepali young people. It also made me thankful for the opportunity GO InterNational has to partner with indigenous ministries around the world who focus on ministry to children. The children at Blessed Hope Children’s home are loved, cared for, and taught about Christ. We got to see the fruit of that work today. Praise the Lord for all he is doing here.
There is still great opportunity and need here. We’d love to share with you about how you can be involved in this wonderful ministry. Just let us know of your interest.
